One thing that is NOT new. In 2009, we had a celebration for the 20th anniversary at our “new” location on Wall Street. (It was our 31st year in Burlington.) In attendance were most of our employees over the last 35 years. Many are still with us today. Over half of our current staff has more than 25 years of experience in framing. We are proud of our team – and the experience that we make available to our customers.
What’s New? Fun, whimsical photography by Judy Robinson-Cox. (See the sushi sunbathers below.)
We continue to expand our jewelry lines. Carlton Gorman is repurposing vintage jewelry pieces into fun - and reasonably priced one-of-a-kind new creations. Lynn Echman crafts unique pieces with sterling and copper. As one customer described them, "They just float on your body." Joli’s inventive creations joined us earlier this year. And new are the works from Sandra Golbert.
New products! Even after years in the framing business, new products come along. We are excited about a new dry mount adhesive which lets us heat mount at a lower temperature. We expect better results for your glossy photos (“orange peel”) and home printer items (where the ink can react when heated).
New Prisma Frames. We carry over 4000 different frames – but nothing like this! Blocks of acrylic, cut and colored to specific preferences. For the selected pieces, this is an incredible way to show that unique animation cell, children’s art, even the diploma. We have but one example below.
